What is this?

NEØNbandit Street is an attempt at a hybrid between a portfolio and a personal website, and is mostly a place where I can keep all the stuff I've created throughout all my years on the internet.

I've been drawing ever since I was very young and started posting pictures online way back in 2007, having accumulated a vast archive of goofy drawings and silly projects I'm passionate about.

I've always been fascinated by the idea of webrings and personal websites, and nowadays, with the overwhelming and suffocating nature of social media, the idea of having to cater to algorithms, the subconscious need of only drawing things if they're worth posting to social media, screaming in overpopulated timelines in hopes that someone, anyone, will listen... I felt like it was time I did something like this.

Maybe I'll learn to let my art just be art and not just a tool to gain numbers and relevancy.

Plus, y'know.

If all big social media ever suddenly dies with no warning, at least I'll have somewhere I can keep my stuff in. I may invest in buying a domain someday, who knows. I've always wanted to write my own website from scratch so I guess this is my attempt. At least those HTML and CSS classes I had weren't a complete waste of time :)
